Molecular Virology meeting

The 7th edition of the Molecular Virology meeting was conducted on 22nd – 23rd September 2023 in the Indian Institute of Science. The venue was the Faculty Hall of the Main Building of IISc. The meeting saw the participation of close to 200 early, mid, and senior-level researchers from India working in Molecular Virology. The participants were invited or selected from over 40 different research Institutions and organizations across India. The conference program included Research Talks by experts, Short Talks of selected abstracts, Poster presentations by early and mid-career researchers, and participant panel discussions. Particular emphasis was given to gender equity while selecting the participants. The research themes categorized for presentations were. 1. Virus Structure and Replication 2. Viral-Cellular Interactions 3. Viral Pathogenesis 4. Viral Evolution 5. Viral Immunity 6. Antivirals & Vaccines
